SPOILING BHARAT’S FUTURE

Giving reference to one Justice MB Shah Committee report, media informs as to how like many other follies, Bharat continues to commit yet an other one by permitting EXPORT OF IRON ORE to CHINA. In return we import steel from them. This report may be about our RESERVES in one single state i.e. Goa, and also about one single item i.e. Iron ore. The general public in this country may not be knowing as to what other and similar wrong decisions continue to spoil Bharat’s future. This one single news item should have alerted all in POLITICAL CLASS/the BUREACRACY as well as the GENERAL public as to how Nation’s TREASURES continue to be HANDLED by permitting their exploitation by others, specially when we ourselves need these items for our PRESENT and FUTURE NEEDS. The case as to why even such matters of vital importance continue to be overlooked by our system, I mean ALL THE PILLERS OF THIS NATION. In this very matter some thoughts as touch the wisdom of the writer of these lines are being expressed here after.


1) The DRAGON, as we should have very well known, is by tendency, A VERY EXPANSIONIST/POLITICALLY CROOKED and simultaneously not a dependable and trust worthy neighbor. So dealing with this country should have been always very consciously assessed, as we have known from our experience of “HINDI CHINI BHAI BHAI” rhetoric, when in our deep sleep they stabbed us in the back and did full fledged military attack on us. In this connection the bigger blame should always go to our Pillars of the System, as their being not VIGILENT AT ALL THE TIMES AND OCCASIONS and instead were found not only napping but in DEEP SLEEP. It is also reported that they have been importing such minerals from other countries too, while keeping their highly huge stocks in reserve, and keeping stocks of even this very item safe. It is sure that after consuming all reserves of other countries, they may come to their real colors/start dictating terms and exploit all even to the extent of making others to bend before them for their existence. There fore immediate need is to put a stop to permitting such EXPLOITATION of our natural resources by one and all, including this DRAGON, so that our future generations do not have to face such awkward/humiliating conditions. Even at present our country is being flooded with many items ( say from pin to plane) made in China. This surely affects our own industry and our FOREIGN EXCHANGE RESERVES. The still BAD LUCK of this country is that in name of LIBERALISATION the term doctored by the present PM, of course under the leadership of the then PM lot of items from LUXURIES TO WASTEFUL ones have flooded our markets and house holds. This made us the DUST BIN of dirt and simultaneously making other flourish. The policy should have been given a go by long back, but alas! WHO IS WORRIED? Going by the unemployment created inside and spread of culture of CONSUMERISM, this open economy thinking now needs a fresh look where by if at all due to some WORLD TRADE AGREEMENTS, imports cannot be stopped/banned in total, then too at least at the first stage IMPORT OF CONSUMER /LUXURY items must stop either by law or by encouraging manufacture of such items in our own country on the SCALE AND PRICES /QUALITY comparable with the imported items. This should make this country no more a market for DUMPING FOREIGN products. As a second step and still with a speed, even items for infrastructure which we import from outside too can be manufactured internally. This need be done in a way that none may feel dependent on imported items in respect of price and quality. In respect China in particular (whose tendencies as mentioned here to fore ) we have known going for large scale imports from them is also strategically UNWISE on our part as this tendency further gives them more ECONOMIC POWER sufficient to give strength to their muscles/Military power who continue to create one or the other demands/troubles along our borders and from beyond.

2) Bharat the country of 120 Crores plus population has a vast idle work force. To a good percentage of them DOLES/FREEBIES etc such as under MGNREGA/MID DAYMEALS,UNEMPLOYMENT pensions and many such LOK LUBHAWAN schemes are given . These schemes can never help development of this nation and need be discontinued as early as possible. To be able to compete with the Nations which take work from their workforce/run their Factories based on modern managerial practices and produce many items for domestic use as well as for exports. We too need to plan and work accordingly. Along with putting brakes on increase in population with immediate affects, the work force need be made to work to EARN TO LIVE. This will have many positive results including control on LAZINESS & BEGGAR TENDENCIES ( A big physical and mental health hazard). In stead of this we can encourage spread of FACTORIES/PRODUCTION UNITS etc inside our country, where many freshers with ENGINEERING DEGREES/DIPLOMAS and so on and other idle work force can be deployed to produce good quality items available on COMPETITIVE PRICES / comparable to quality equal to PREFERRED IMPORTED ITEMS .This will help this Nation in many positive ways. We have many engineering institutes spread all over this country rolling out ENGINEERS IN LACKS, every year on regular basis. But unluckily most wish /go for sales or as service engineers in stead of working in production units. This is BAD TENDENCY/ BAD SCHOOLING AND PURPOSE of such qualifications. In this respect positive changes in the system may help. As a very first step before permitting entry of a student to engineering institute he must be made to sign an agreement that after completing his course, he under takes to work in production unit/factory unless the system needs the services otherwise or the person becomes incapacitated to work on shop floor. After all for all schooling big or small, society too contributes a lot and their contribution should not go waste in the vent of the student deciding other wise for personal comfirts or position. Still selection for such courses must be on merit basis and there after their employments must be made sure. Just now LABOUR LAWS FAVOUR THE WORKERS too much against their being PRODUCTION FRIENDLY. This aspect need be taken care at once.

3) This nation’s ECONOMY is in a very bad shape, as is crystal clear, from RISING PRICES/INFLATION TOUCHING SKY HIGH/CORRUPTION/ADULTRATIONS /SUPPLY OF SPURIOUS-ADULTRATED-SUBSTANDARD items very common. Most PUBLIC UNDER TAKINGS ARE INCURRING HEAVY LOSSES YEAR AFTER YEAR AND POSITION HAS REACHED THE STAGE WHERE TO RUN THE Home and to overcome uncontrolled expenses going much above the income almost on regular basis, house hold items are sold off BIT BY BIT to ensure continuity of LUXURIOUS/WASTEFUL /UNSYSTAMATIC way of life . This becomes clear from the way, STAKES IN PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTAKINGS are being sold off. All these and more are the conditions created due to LOP SIDED / VOTE BASED POLITICAL DECISIONS where GOVERNANCE has been given almost a total go by. Total emphasis is on RIGHTS where DUTIES get almost no space in the systems. Bureaucracy seems to have lost courage to give proper guidance/advise good for all times to come. This has resulted in along with other matters, ECONOMY going out of control and to take it back to the right track, the system now decides to permit out-sourcing of our Governance by permitting FDIs to do business in our country. FDIs as per present government decision, can now enter RETAIL MARKETS BY GOING IN TO JOINT VENTURES, WHILE HOLDING SUFFICIENT PERCENTAGE OF SHARES TO THEM SELVES. The big question is, if due to our lack of will to act and in order to APPEASE ALL, we have created WEBS all around, from where we feel difficult to come out, then make sure that by permitting FDIs in retail, we are creating still bigger and powerful WEBS . It may become impossible to come out of these newly created WEBS ever. Just going by our past experience of history and all specially the MUGHAL RULE AND THEN EAST INDIA COMPANY, we must remember as to how we were treated and looted. Those were the days when some real patriots taking many troubles & inconveniences upon them-selves were able to bail us out, which may not happen again. Political out fits in Govts or even with in it may do well to help this system come out of troubled waters by giving HONEST/WORKABLE and positive suggestions in order to improve the systems in stead of just going ON OADS IN protest/dharnas and bharat bandhs and so on. BUT STILL ALL OUT EFFORTS NEED BE MAE TO STOP FOREIGN INVASION ON OUR SYSTEMS IN NAME OF LIBERALISATION.
