SELECTING A NEW PRESIDENT

Courtesy the media, it is now known to the public that the INCUMBANT PRESIDENT OF BHARAT Smt.PATIL is shortly going to complete her tenure. Due to vacancy going to be caused, search now is going on to select the person to be the Nation’s First citizen. The selection and the final election is to be done by the elected ones from the STATE ASSEMBLIES and the CENTRAL PARLIAMENT. There fore this very class and their respective POLITICAL OUTFITS have to be on the fore front to take decisions. As of now as the news filter on ,it is observed that for selecting the eligible person WEIGHTAGE is being given to the CASTE,COMMUNITY SEX Language AREA OF DOMICILE etc of the candidate. As is well known and as per our constitution, the PRESIDENT is not supposed to do much in normal circumstances and is mostly a FIGURE HEAD. Still such a figure head should be at least such who can INSPIRE/EDUCATE to the masses of the nation when ever he expresses on any subject or occasion. His dispositions to the nation should in general be a normal and regular feature.


In this connection request is being made to all those who matter in this process and also to the MEDIA/THE OPENION MAKERS and all to give thoughts to some small points while going for selecting the next incumbent for RASHTRAPATI BHAWAN/worthy of being the FIRST CITIZEN OF THIS BIG NATION.

[1]Should be an educated person [I do not mean literacy only] concerned not for his personal self and those of his nears and dears as well as about his perks, privileges and rights but his duties and concern for the nation and society as a whole .He must have caliber and capacity to similarly educate and direct the nation towards the right path. Such a person should have vide vision to fore see and alert the nation and the society about the pitfalls ahead. [MEANING A STATESMAN TO THE CORE]A role model like KRISHNA who in MAHABHARTA carried no weapons himself but still the war by the PANDVAS was won due to his guidance and direction, meaning PERFACT EMBODIMENT OF GUIDE AND PHILOSOPHER [2]Such a person need be having unimpeachable character and moral authority to say and act the truth. Unluckily for the present incumbent fingers are being raised on her desire to have a GRAND LIVING SPACE AFTER RETIREMENT AND ALSO ABOUT HER SPENDINGS IN CRORES ON FOREIGN TOURS, where in the relations too were taken along with, not speaking well of the position holder not following SIMPLICITY AND AUSTARATY while in office [3] Physical personality of such a person need be such as to command respect from whom so ever comes in contact. [4] Should in no way be a political and demanding person, not at all feeling obliged to any particular political outfit and their heads or any particular community /region etc for having helped in getting the coveted position. RATHER THE MESSAGE AFTER GETTING THE POSITION NEED BE OF TOTAL HUMILITY COMMITMENT TO THE NATION EXHORTING OTHERS ALSO SIMILARLY. Here it is observed that just a few days back on getting named as GOVERNOR of a state, the person started singing paeons for the party in power and its head .The question is can such a person ever be expected to be impartial in his dealings with other parties as well as, shall such a person ever command respect from the general public. There is no dearth of such instances where persons having been named as governors or in some cases even as RASHTRAPATI too have behaved similarly, A BAD TRAIT FOR THIS BIGGEST DEMOCRACY OF THE WORLD.

There fore request is made here to make the process of such selections more free from the bondages of political system, rather from now onward systems can be made that selections and/or elections of GIOVERNORS AS WELL AS RASHTRAPATI BE MADE BY THE general voters ,for the governors at the time state elections and for the president at the time of GENERAL ELECTIONS being held. For the candidates for these positions the persons must not be having been ever in politics and while canvassing for vote no appeals be made on caste/community/language or any such basis. Tor the persons for such positions certain minimum qualifications too can be fixed. From now onward let this old constitution be replaced by the new one and along with other matters the holders of positions of GOVERNERS AND RASHTRAPATI must be provided with stings so as to be able to put pressure on the system not to deviate from concerns for the nation.AS A BIG ELEPHANT CAN BE CONTROLLED BY EVEN A PHYSICALLY WEEK IN THE CAPACITY OF ITS KEEPER OR MAHAVAT WITH JUST A SMALL STING SO TOO THE NATION CAN BE DIRECTED TO THE RIGHT PATH For the selection of present incumbent the mentioned points can be taken care of so that a worthy of position gets to the job
