NEW BREED KINGS V/S AAM ADMI

The media on 9/5/12 has reported that an Ex.Chief Minister of a state has spent at least 86 crores of public money for the renovation of a big house [rather a very big bungalow] reported spread over 5acres of land. The occupant was earlier in possession of this living space spread over about 2.5 acres of land as ex.cm which on assuming charge of the state as Chief Minister was extended to these 5 acres of land after bulldozing the adjoining buildings. These demolished buildings are reported to be having huge accommodation and were full of greenery all around. Besides this luxury of hugeness, the building is reported decorated profusely including with marble and granite floorings and bulletproof glasses on some of the widows. Against this the AAM ADMI is having to face all problems moving on broken/congested and bumpy roads and face chocked full of filth and stinking/overflowing drainage system, which create hellish conditions at least during rainy seasons. This extension seems to have been done just to suit whims and fancies of the incumbent. The incumbent is reported to be a single person’s family who by no standards should need more than 200 meters of land for the residence, that too single story only. This reported figure of expenditure might not be the final one as many other expenses on supervision and other items, which might not have found mention under this head. This act of the then incumbent when found mentions in the media, the nears and dears of the position holder in political outfit tried to justify this hugeness and extension of the building giving it name of the memorial for the persons not in body. Going by the present needs of the general citizens and skyrocketing prices of land such actions could have been avoided. The country knows that this is not solitary case of HUNGER FOR BIG BUNGLOWS of these new BREED KINGS all over this country. Not only this, rather many position holders who were allotted these bungalows while they were holding some position in the Govt. as political person continue to occupy these HUGE LIVING SPACES even after they have lost their entitlements for the same. IS IT NOT BAD ON THE PART OF THIS CLASS not to be role models of SIMPLICITY AND AUSTERITY for the general public? Just about two months back elections to the assembly in the same very state took place. The new set up reported that while as CM the person was provided more than 400 persons to oversee the security of the position holder. After change of guards this huge contingent is reported reduced drastically but still permitting more than 50 persons as guards. Besides this, many in public life have been provided SECURITY PERSONALS as guards, many might be having threat to their lives on account of their own character and actions in the past or even in the present so for such persons giving security at the cost of public exchequer is depriving the aam admi of the protections needed by them I do not mean as functionaries in the system. Again CATAGORIZATIONS HAVE BEEN DONE FOR THE CITIZENS OF THIS VERY COUNTRY, MANY HAVING BEEN categorized as VIPs, VVIPs and so on and provided, Zplus, Z, Y or so, type of security and in the process having been provided many security personals just to be on guard for the few ones only, leaving the general public i.e. AMM ADMI un-cared and un-guarded., thus depriving the general public of the normal LAW AND ORDER PROTECTIONS.


This very Ex CM is reported moving in a convoy of about 40 vehicles while holding position of a CM. This could have been creating hindrance and inconvenience to the general public besides being Burden on the public exchequer. It is understood that many position holders in other parts of the country too may be behaving similarly, creating similar problems. The question is WHY? Here immediate corrections need be enforced not permitting any position holder more than two vehicles for use at a time.

Many monuments said to be in memory of the departed ones have been constructed in many parts of this state. In this process a big block of residential houses meant for the Govt. staff are reported DEMOLISHED along with BULDOZING OF A VERY BIG JAIL in the state capital. In this process a lot of agricultural land has been acquired and lot of greenery has been destroyed and replaced by STONES AND STONE BUILDINGS. All these mentions so for are in respect of the state capital only, Similar destructions/constructions of stones spread all around after removal of greenery are reported spread in many other parts of this state. This culture of monuments is spread in most parts of the country including the national capital, where monuments have been created for the past prime ministers as well, irrespective of their contributions to general UPLIFTMENT OF THE NATION AS A WHOLE. One such case comes to mind is when the person was able to be so after defections and could not face the parliament even for one day. The question is as to what SATVIK message we are going to pass on to the next generations. Similarly, culture of monuments for the ex.cms and others, mostly in political class exists in other parts/other states of this country, thus ignoring the availability of land for the general public for their housing and other similar needs, specially when AAM ADMI is left with no capacity even to have a small living place for self and family.

Many in public life as well as some in the bureaucracy too have been permitted to use some blue or red beacons on the vehicles they use. This seems to have been done to make the AAM ADMI make space for them when they are on the roads and also to make them aware of the presence of KINGS among them. Might be the AAM ADMI may suffer to any extent in the process. We as the cautious and vigilant government should by now have known the risks of misuse of such displays even as security risks, but our conscience still does not prick. Just now there have been going on the TALKS OF PERMITTING OF SUCH RED BEACON FACILITY to all members of parliament, which due to some good sense having prevailed some where seems to have been kept in abeyance [for ever or for some time is not known] but in this process public has not heard any voice from these kings against such displays. It is understood that in many states such beacon privileges already exist. Best in a good democracy would have been that all position holders move in the public as ordinary citizens so as to be able to over see the working of the systems and also feel the pinch themselves so as to be prompted to act.

Just now our country is facing lot of FOREIGN EXCHANE CRUNCH TO THE EXTENT THAT OUR CURRENCY IS GETTING HEAVILY DEVALUED against foreign currencies. This position does not seem to have come to the fore in days/weeks or months. This must be due to our accumulated past actions. We are importing lot of consumer items from the other countries, including the luxury items and those also without which we can happily live, but the system does not seem concerned to act. Many in the government, the ministers, and the bureaucracy make foreign tours in the name of GOVERNMENT sponsored ones with purpose to know the systems where ever they are better so that we too can do similarly. While on such tours the country should have right to ask such persons as to how their tours are going to or have helped improvements in our systems, had it been so the country would not be facing many problems which we face. Our first citizen and the speaker too have made many foreign tours .The nation could have been enlightened by the first citizen through conferences, and in many other ways had the purpose been to benefit the nation. The SPEAKER’s foreign tours do not depict any usefulness going by what still goes on in the parliament. THE BIG QUESTION IS WHY all this. Many position holders go to the foreign countries for medical care and treatements,the question is if the very person responsible for creating excellent conditions of education and medical care for all in this country itself do not do duty to the nation properly, then why they should be permitted to get such facilities them selves. Is it not bad on the part of this class of NEW BREED KINGS and why they too should not be debarred from availing such facilities themselves?

Those heading the states or even at the centre Governments remain very busy to act as PHILANTHROPISTS and continue to disburse doles/freebies and other concessions in the names of subsidies, forgetting that they are to work only as custodians of the public properties not as owners, but while in office they get so much intoxicated that they forget their positions and permit loot of the public property. In the process the centre goes for all types of borrowing from with in and outside the country and the states continue to put pressure on the centre for more funds, forgetting their duty to EARN FOR THEM SELVES TO BE ABLE TO SPEND. The CENTRE due to political compulsions dare not overlook even the most unreasonable demands of the states, thus putting more pressure on our economy. Then going by a nice saying;-Chori aur bhiksha ki roti se pate to ji uthta hai magar atma mar jati haiSo disbursements by the govts.at all levels as freebies from public funds for vote bank gains can be treated as theft of public funds and those getting them too are not better as they either become lazy to earn them selves or develop BEGGER tendencies. A BIG BLOT ON this once great nation and is like serving OPIUM to the generations present as well as future just for gains of self. JUST NOW DESPIT HEAVY INCREASE IN PRICES OF MOST ITEMS, THE RUPEES GETTING HAVILY UNDERVALUED in relations to foreign currency, the KINGS HOLDING THE THRONES are not able to protect the AAM ADMI getting crushed under the load of CORRUPTION/ADULTERATIONS/UNBEARABLE COST OF LIVING. This uncaring attitude of those in power seems due to the reasons that they themselves remain totally protected from all these problems. The best should be that they too move in the markets for their daily needs. And also feel the pinch in order to enforce corrections.

These are only few expressed AREAS OF DARKNESS existing in the nation, though a lot of darkness is spread all around in the country. The kings still feeling sitting just under the lights themselves, feel not that AAM ADMI is facing DARKNESS all around. Some one has Said this way too;

CHAR SOO GHOR ANDHERA HAI YEH MANA LEKAN, ISS KE MATAM SE UJALA NAHIN HONE WALA. So some remedial points to bring light in this dark place:-

1-To put a check on unneeded use of land and hunger for big living spaces for this class, their appetite can be put a control to by making fool proof laws and systems, where in all those entitled to government accommodations should necessarily be accommodated in block of flats having not more than 300sqr. meters of carpet area and not more than three bed rooms plus dining drawing space. For all these position holders joint security, if at all needed, can be provided. In this way, requirement of security personals too can be minimized and the surplus can be put in use for the AAM ADMIs’ safety and security.

All state governments must be made to manage their finances with in their earnings. The provisions for rainy days too must be their responsibility. The share in the earnings of the income from central taxes must be clearly and exactly defined, so that the states for vote bank considerations do not go for unneeded doles, freebies and wasteful expenses. Same way all government run undertakings too must spend only with in their own earnings. As of now most Govt. undertakings run in losses only, while, for similar activities PRIVATE enterprises make heavy profits. This leads one to conclude that in the PUBLIC SECTOR positive commitments and sense of belongings at all levels are very low. So the employees there in at all levels must by law be made to share only in the profits. PROFITS COMING DOWN should simultaneously pinch the staff/workers as well by proportionate reductions in their pay pockets and perks. This may help improve finances of the system, also putting speed breakers on unneeded imports from other countries.

About misuse of land, definit policy decisions are urgent needs so that the greenery is not given a total good bye and agricultural land is not engulfed by the TRADERS in LAND AND BUILDINGS and also by those in power /position in the system. Same way agricultural lands should not be permitted to change hands except for agricultural purposes only.

These are only few thoughts expressed by an individual, but going by the huge government machinery and highly educated bureaucracy solutions can be found for all the mentioned and other maladies, the nation is suffering from, So that corrections are made and enforced . BASICALLY MOST PROBLEMS IN THIS COUNTRY SEEM DUE TO UNCHECKED INCREASE IN POPULATION AND NUMBERLESS POLITICAL OUTFITS EXISTING IN THE COUNTRY where Controls and checks are the immediate needs of time. In case the systems and political class burn midnight oils to find ways as to how the number of political parties can be brought down to two in through out the country, and elections are held not for individual candidate but for the political out fits, the country is going to take big leaps to ward making it a developed country leaving most others behind. With existing of only two political parties in the country,decision making shall be easy as leg pulling may come down.

HOPE THE CONCERNED CITIZENS WILL MAKE THE SYSTEM TO ACT AND THAT TOO WITH SUPERSONIC SPEED.
