ASSAM DISTURBANCES---LESSONS FOR THE NATION

For the last some days, there are going on DISTURBANCES ON A VERY LARGE SCALE in many parts of Assam. Going by the media reports, in these disturbances more than 70 people have lost their lives till the time this writing was started, still the unease including KILLINGS do not seem to be reaching the dead end. Many people, reportedly more than 4lacs have been rendered HOME LESS and are living in FEAR/BADLY UNCOMFIRTABLE and unhygienic conditions, in make shift shelters provided by the administration. Causes for disturbances and killings are reported to be LAND AND LIVELYHOOD, between the existing population consisting mostly of BODOS IN ASSAM, and the LARGE SCALE INFILTRATORS from across the BANGLA DESH BORDERS. The infiltrations are REPORTED CONTINUING SINCE THE LAST MANY YEARS ,TO THE EXTENT THAT IN MANY PLACES THE POPULATION OF INFILTRATORS HAS EXCEEDED the originals of this area. The natural result of such influx on the limited land and resources has to be CONTINUOUS SKIRMISHES between the haves and the snatchers. Going by media reports it is gathered that these outsiders have formed them selves in VERY STRONG GROUPS. These groups are reported having become powerful to the extent that they are able to overpower the ORIGINALS by taking over their LAND/PROFESSIONS AND LIVELIHOOD. The state governments at different times are reported to have not taken corrective steps to put a stop on such ILLEGAL INFILTRATIONS. The central Govt. too have remained mostly passive to the situation. The reasons, as are made out in general and by the general public at large, are the WEAK KNEED GOVERNANCE AND APPEASEMENT POLICIES OF the political class, mostly due to hunger for VOTE BANK. Those who have crossed over to this side of BHARAT have not been treated harshly even as per the LAWS OF THE LAND, so as to push them back and also to put a stop to further influx. Not only that these persons are enjoying all the benefits as are due to the originals, but have also been given voting rights. Therefore feeling obliged to the Parties in power at the STATE & CENTRE, they vote for them in the elections, thus giving further stimulant to these parties not to act. So all these inactions on the part of the governments should have been treated as AGAINST NATIONAL INTERESTS and need be dealt with accordingly. Other wise to put a stop on such infiltrations, ACTION SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN IMMEDIATELY on illegal entry of the first person on our side., and borders could have been sealed at once. INSTEAD OF GIVING DOLES AND FREEBIES TO THE MANY IN THIS COUNTRY, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN MORE PURPOSEFUL TO PLACE all such force on the task of sealing and also guarding such porousborders. The unemployed could have got the jobs/and the nation a fruitful work. IN THE MEAN TIME FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION ALL FACILITIES AS ARE NOT DUE TO THE INFILTRATORS INCLUDING VOTING RIGHTS CAN BE WITHDRAWN, AND BY COMBING THE AFFECTED AREAS SUCH PERSONS CAN BE IDENTIFIED FOR THEIR EARLIEST DEPORTATIONS. Besides the happenings at various places in ASSAM it self, some ANTINATIONALS and the rowdies created problems in Mumbai ,where besides creating many inconveniences to the general public, many public or even private vehicles and also some properties were destroyed in EFFORTS TO SHOW SOLIDARITY FOR THE INFILTRATORS. Some such incidents took place at some other places as well including in some cities of Utter Pradesh. In most cases the rowdies and the antinationals have been dealt with KID GLOVES only, as if their actions were not that serious. Do this system –not try to find out the GROUP OR THE PERSONS /COMMUNITY who were all sympathetic for the FOREIGN INFILTRATORS against the persons of their own country. Do we as a Nation not make and enforce laws which ensure that all living in this country have to be totally committed to this nation and those doing otherwise can be treated as ANTINATIONALS AND PUNISHED accordingly.


GOING BY THE conditions AS PREVAILING in this Country, immediate need is to take care of the following matters at the NATIONAL LEVELS so that the Country may not have to face similar or even worst UPHEAVALS, then forcing the populace jut for the sake of EXISTENCE/SAFETY/LIVELIHOOD/ACCOMODATION,BARE NECESSACITIES INCLUDING NATURAL RESOURCES even space for living and movement on the roads, do not always have to be ready or compelled to be at the point of BREAKING HEADS OR EVEN TAKING LIVES OF OTHERS.

1)ECONOMY—suffering from rising prices/inflation/debts/wastages/doles/subsidies and higher wage bill. 2)EDUCATION/HEALTH CARE -----Again in bad shape where Govt run schools provide minimal of literacy/Private schooling is too costly for most to afford/after having done some special courses, tendency develops to run out of country for better pay pockets & facilities AND ALSO DUE TO LACK OF PROPER CONDITIONS IN SIDE THIS COUNTRY. Similarly there are shortages of DOCTORS and treatment at GOVT. run hospitals and the privateers charge too heavy and run more for business and still less for medical care. Then why position holders too should be permitted to go out of the country for treatments of self & families—Why permit them so 3)POPULATION-----Most problems are also due to obnoxious and continuous increase in population, where formulas applied by Late SANJAY GANDHI NEED BE TRIED AND ENFORCED. 4) DIVISIONS IN THE STATES-----By further dividing states the country has been made to move towards more divisions, apprehending this one country becoming the many, states getting all their own, based on LANGUAGE. Best may be to create ADMINISTRATIVE ZONES say 6/7 for the whole country, national Language to be two only i.e. English and Hindi for all official works 5) law & order.---Most security personals are deployed for the security of the few only, resulting in the general public left un guarded including their properties. Not only this the Mockery is that a good number of persons just now have been placed to guard the monuments and STATUES IN A PERTICULAR STATE. The administration need to ponder if the living ones are lesser in need of security than the dead ones, in statues. Other wise too, just now we find troubles created when some how the statue of the living one( INSTALLING OWN STATUE DURING LIFE TIME MAY BE RAREST OF THE RARE CASES ) got broken, and the troubles started. This too is known that Statues of some persons have been stalled all over this country, which are going to be the cause of troubles on regular basis, as by accident or design one or the other may get DAMAGED and the troubles start. The concept of PLACES OF WORSHIP MUST HAVE BEEN THOUGHT OF for such occasions only, meaning that the statues be kept at the covered places, so that these do not become cause of troubles on continuous basis. 6)RUSH EVERY WHERE-------On the roads number of VEHICLES ARE ON THE INCREASE. Not only this but now the tendency has developed to have STILL BIGGER SIZED VEHICLES, which mostly occupy double the space needed for ordinary vehicles. Neglect here too is going to be the cause of ROAD RAGES on regular basis besides creating many other discomforts. 7) ELECTION LAWS/POLITICAL SYSTEM--------The present system permitting any number of Political parties to come up and any individual to contest the election and even become MINISTER OR HOLDER OF OTHER POSITION AS BOAT MAN THOUGH THE PERSON MAY NOT BE FIT FOR THE JOB. The need as such is to ensure that this country has only two political parties for through out the county, I mean the same for states as well. Elections to be for parties instead of individual candidates. Specific qualifications for those eligible to contest.

These are only a few issues discussed here, let the system search out what others have been kept under the carpet, bring these out DIAGNOSE and treat these to cure. JUST NOW AN OTHER SHAME HAS BEEN THROWN ON OUR FACE BY OUR VERY POOR SHOWINGS AT THE OLYMPICS,WHERE WE THE 2ND BIGGEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD IN TERMS OF POPULATION WERE ADJUDGED AT 55TH POSITION in respect of medal entitlements, not able to win even a single GOLD. This SHAME too seems to be the result of our LACK LUSTRE thinking/policies/planning and their implementations. The worst part of our political decisions is that PRECEDENCE IS Being given to all other matters over CALIBRE/COMMITMENT/CAPACITY in name of RESERVATIONS. This Again is going to be a cause of bad blood between the citizens of this very country ,also affecting our capacity to COMPETE in the world. REMEDIES PLEASE.

The KARANDHARS IN POLITICS and the GOVERNMENTS should not be needed to visit the places of upheavals or the hospitals where the injured are lodged. These persons should instead do proper/foolproof planning and ensure meticulous execution without fear (fear I mean for vote bank) or favour. Other wise too they need not indulge in LIP SERVIVE AND SHOW BUSINESS as they cannot basically be of any help to the injured. That job of cares need be best left to the MEDICAL PERSONALS.
